Make A Movie Summer Camp!

This August, DAPA & The Mill Theatre, Dundrum, will join forces to offer a thrilling new addition to the south Dublin summer camp calendar The DAPA Make A Movie camp!

Film, theatre and TV professionals directors, actors and performers with experience of working on shows such as Gold (Film, 2014), Great War Diaries (TV, 2014), RTE s Young People s Programmes and Fair City will teach students the key skills of movie-making.

Students will be given the opportunity to try various roles in the film-making process, and will get hands-on experience of

– Film Production: the various roles and responsibilities on a film/TV set

– Pre-Production: how to plan, research and script

– Camerawork: basics of camerawork, dos and don ts; how to film on mobile phones/tablets

– Presenting/Acting for camera

– Post-Production/Editing: selecting the best shots, editing, adding music; the best apps

– Broadcast: how to upload films to YouTube

 

DAPA s Make A Movie Summer Camp will run at The Mill Theatre, Dundrum, from Monday 21 Friday 25 August, 2017.

SEPTEMBER TERM

New DAPA classes in DANCE, DRAMA AND SINGING will begin in the week of September 16.

Fees

  • 95 – 1 class
  • 135 – 2 classes
  • 165 – 3 classes

All classes will run for eight weeks. If your child is currently taking just one or two classes, our 3-class special offers the perfect opportunity to try something different for a fantastic low price – while you get three precious hours to yourself to explore Dundrum Town Centre.
